By Road: approximately 45 minutes from the M25, take the M20 towards the coast. At Junction 11, take the 3rd exit for Hythe on the A20 (Ashford Rd). Approximately half a mile further on, take the second exit (straight over) and continue on the A20 for 0.7 mile. Take the first right onto Stone Street (Signposted Westenhanger Station):

Continue for half a mile until you see the sign (left hand side) for Westenhanger Castle: (if you go over the bridge, you have gone too far)

Follow this road for about half a mile (it seems longer). You will pass the TKO Gym on your left – keep going! Eventually, you will come to the following, at which point head for the car park.

Once parked, you should see the door leading to the castle (hopefully, unlike the photo, it won’t be closed):

 

By Train: Exit at Westenhanger Station (note: not all Folkestone/Dover bound trains stop at Westenhanger, so please check before booking). At the station, Westenhanger Castle is sited directly behind and there is an exit through the fence, with a 200m walk to the castle.
